About
Gavin grew up in Ohio where he discovered his love of nature exploring the forests, rivers, and wilderness of the Midwest. He graduated from Utah State University in the spring of 2025 with a degree in landscape architecture. Gavin minored in sustainable systems as he enjoyed exploring how each part of an environment interacts to create the places that people love.
He hopes to create meaningful spaces that provide sustainable growth socially, environmentally, and economically. Additionally, Gavin is preparing for the LARE exams and professional licensure. Gavin loves street trees. Whether it’s a honeylocust, golden rain tree, maple, oak, or poplar, street trees cool the streets, clean the air and water, protect the sidewalks, and much more.
Outside of work, Gavin enjoys mountain biking, exploring with his young family, and discovering anything new – from music to food to new skills.
