About
Christian grew up in Ohio where he learned to appreciate nature as a calming space and discovered his love for plants through his grandparent’s nursery. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 2023 with a degree in Landscape Architecture and a minor in Architecture. Christian is getting ready to take the LARE exams with the goal to obtain licensure in the field.
His passion in Landscape Architecture is to blur the boundary between the built and natural environment through planting and sustainable materials. Specifically, the relationship that people have with urban landscapes and how they contribute to psychological well-being. Christian’s favorite plant is Quercus suber (Cork Oak), which is not only a fun broadleaf evergreen tree, but also the source of all cork that is naturally produced.
Outside of the office, Christian enjoys cooking new foods, watching movies, and spending time with his cat and dog.
